Cassandra Renee McDaniel, 56 of Joaquin, departed this life on February 3, 2024. She was the mother of Robert Jackson, Lester McDaniel, Jr., Jasmine Slack, and Latitia McDaniel. She was born on February 7, 1967 in San Bernardino, CA to Robert Griffin and Bernice Smith. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Cassandra worked as a Dietary Manager for 20 years and most recently became manager of Dollar General.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Markeisha Lake.

Viewing starts at 10am and visitation is from 6pm until 8pm on Friday, February 9, 2024 at the Community Funeral Home located at 157 Neville Road in Center, Texas 75935. Funeral service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Pinegrove Baptist Church in Holland Quarters at 117 CR 277, Carthage. Interment will be at Pine Grove Cemetery.
