Deidra Annette Jones, 64 of Spring, Texas, passed away on December 9, 2025. She was born on May 19, 1961, in Nacogdoches, Texas, to Jesse and Lucille Jones.
Deidra grew up in East Texas and graduated from Tenaha High School in 1988. She continued her education at Panola College earning her bachelor’s degree from Stephen F. Austin State University. Driven by her passion for caring for others, she later graduated from Angelina College with her Registered Nursing Degree.
Deidra dedicated sore than 30 years to the nursing profession, serving patients and families with compassion, skill, and unwavering commitment. She spent the latter part of her career in case management, where her experience and gentle guidance made a meaningful difference in the lives of many.
A lifelong animal lover, Deidra had a special place in her heat for cats. She supported and worked with several programs devoted to their care and protection, always advocating for the animals who needed her most.

She is also remembered fondly by many cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her father, Jesse Jones; maternal grandparents, Sidney and Emma Mena; and paternal grandparents, Jesse and Willie Ruth Jones.
Deidra has already been cremated, honoring her wishes. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at a later date.
Deidra's kindness, dedication, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
