Freddie Lawrence Steadman, 80 of Tenaha, passed away November 13, 2025. He was born September 25, 1945.
Funeral service is 11am Saturday, November 29, 2025 at First Baptist Church in Tenaha. Interment is a Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Tenaha, Texas.
Freddie was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ann Steadman Johnson; fathers, Fred Thomas and Frank Johnson Sr.; wife, Juanita McKee Steadman; daughter, Lashaun Moore; son, Darrell McKee; brothers, Thurman Moore Solomon (Alice), Charles Moore (Gladys), William Hooper (Freda), Frank Johnson Jr. (Jennifer); sisters, Vertis Steadman, Alice Pearl Steadman, Bessie Mae Steadman Ingram (Sydney); former sister-in-law, Bessie Moore Ratcliff; and cousins, Charles Ray Sheppard and Claude Roberts with whom he had a special bond.
