Hugh William Rushing, 79, of Center, passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2025, in Nacogdoches.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 12, 2025, at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Gordon Vaughn officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery in San Augustine County.
Born April 14, 1946, Hugh is the son of Albert Rushing and Dura Mae Wheeler. He served in the United States Army during Vietnam. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, carpentry, going out to eat, and spending time with family on his farm.
