Mearline Ratcliff, 68, passed away September 27, 2025. She was born to the late Vance Ratcliff and Eula Windham on November 09, 1956. At an early age, she accepted Christ at Carroll Chapel CME Church, Shelbyville, and later moved her membership to Jerusalem Baptist Church in Houston, TX.
Funeral service is at 1pm on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at Carroll Chapel CME Church, 302 FM 2694, Shelbyville, Texas. With Pastor Gregg Ratcliff as eulogist. Visitation is from 10am until 6pm Friday, October 10, 2025 at Community Funeral home Chapel in Center. Interment is at McWilliams Cemetery in Shelbyville, Texas.
She found joy in the simple things like family gatherings, good conversations, and lending a helping hand when needed.
Mearline attended and graduated from Shelbyville ISD School.
Those who preceded Mearline in death was her parents, Vance Ratcliff and Eula Windham; son, Patrick Rateliff; and four sisters.
