Prince J. W. Garrett passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, October 10, 2026 in San Augustine, Texas. He was born in Center, Texas on October 17, 1929 to Prince Qually and Mother Revester Wade Garrett.
Prince Garrett has remained faithful to our Lord and Savior during his Christian journey.
He was a member and assistant pastor of Triumph 1st Pentecostal Church in Shelbyville, Texas.

Preceded in death by his parents, Prince Qually and Mother Revester Wade Garrett and siblings Irma Davis Miller, Qvester Simms, LaMerle Suell, Fannie Mae Johnson, LaVerne Harrison, Lela Gardner, Elouise Miller, Samuel Garrett, and Joe Nathan Garrett.
Prince Garrett will be missed by a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
