Steven Michael Dockens, 64, of Mulvane, KS, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2023 at his home on Dockens Farm.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Mangum Funeral Home, 420 San Augustine St, Center, TX. A burial will follow at Strong Cemetery in Shelbyville, Texas.
A special celebration in honor of Steve's life and legacy will be scheduled in the spring or summer 2024.
Steve was born in Shreveport, LA on June 29, 1959, to the late Joan (Bonin) and J. Donice Dockens. Steve retired as a crew chief at Textron after 30+ years of dedicated service. Steve enjoyed drag racing, hunting, fishing, farming, coaching baseball and spending time with family and friends.
On August 8, 1980, he married Suzanne (Westcott) Dockens in Livingston, TX who survives him.
