Teresa Ann Harper Rasmussen

12/22/2020

Teresa Ann Harper Rasmussen, 52, of Brier, WA transitioned peacefully to heaven on December 13th, after an 8-month battle with soft-tissue sarcoma, with loved ones by her side.

Born in 1968 and raised in Center, TX (Mt Gillion), and a graduate of Center High School Class of 1986, Teresa made her way to Alaska after high school where she met her husband of 29 years, Henrik. They would relocate in a few years to Brier, WA, where they would reside and raise a family for next 25+ years. Teresa was a successful businesswoman and maintained a clothing store in Alaska and eventually became a Polish pottery seller in Bothell, WA (Ada’s Polish Pottery), for over 13 years. She loved jazz, going to sporting events, and live concerts. She also loved spending time with her sweet bully pit, Nova and growing vegetables in her amazing garden.

To know Teresa was to know her extremely big and kind heart, and that she loved and adored her family fiercely. She was the most outgoing and lively person with a larger-than-life personality. She always gave out the best non-judgmental, straight-forward, sound advice and was loved and cherished by so many people. She made an impact and lasting impression on every person she met. Her one-of-a-kind spirit will live in and with us forever.

She was preceded in death by her father, Arvest Harper and brothers, Terry and Oscar Harper.
