Willie Neil Edwards, 95, of Joaquin, passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2025, in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 14, 2025, at First Baptist Church in Joaquin with Bro. Paul Silvey and Bro. Bobby Russell officiating. Interment will follow at Willow Grove Cemetery in Joaquin.
Born March 19, 1930, in Fisher, Louisiana, Willie is the son of Frank Edwards and Gussie Knippers Edwards. He served in the United States Army. Willie was employed at Texas Eastern Pipeline for thirty-four years. His hobbies included camping and working in the yard. Willie was a member of Joaquin Masonic Lodge #856, Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 903, and First Baptist Church in Joaquin, where he served as a deacon.
