Gary Tyler Williams, 26, of Nacogdoches, unexpectedly passed away on Friday, December 19, 2025 in Nacogdoches. He was born on January 19, 1999 in Nacogdoches.
Funeral service will be held at 11am on Sunday, December 28, 2025 at Mt. Union Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Ronnie Luman and Bro. Kenneth Rector officiating. Interment will follow at 2pm at Waterman Cemetery.
He was raised in Center, Texas and Hewitt, Texas and attended Midway High School. Although he was an adult, Tyler lived life like Peter Pan and never grew up. He was truly a kid at heart and loved playing video games, watching WWE wrestling and MMA fights. He also used his wresting knowledge on his siblings and friends!
Tyler was a light to everyone he met. He really was a “people person” and loved nothing more than doing things for others, especially when it was something they needed. He worked in food service which filled his heart with joy, doing simple things for folks. It made him happy to know they had a need and he was fulfilling it.
Tyler was a member of Mt. Union Freewill Baptist Church where he was blessed to have been baptized by his dad on February 9, 2025 (one of the proudest moments his father ever experienced). He has always liked the “Footprints In the Sand” poem but recently he read it and truly appreciated it which showed his growth in Christ.
Tyler’s family proved to be his greatest blessing. He loved them all without boundaries. He was a kind and genuine young man, always putting others before his own needs. This all stemmed from his faith and trust in Jesus Christ and the superb family values that were instilled in him from the time he was a child. The absence of his joy, beautiful spirit and constant cheerfulness will be the missing parts of life most noticed in the days and years to come. However, knowing he is walking the road with Mama Wright (they were thick as thieves as everyone knew) in their new Kingdom brings a silent peace to everyone.
He is survived by:
Parents, Christina Lee Pruitt and husband Chris of Hewitt, Texas
Father, Gary Sterlin Williams and wife Jenifer of Nacogdoches

Bryan Beavers, affectionately known as “Brownee” in the Garrison community and “Mr. B” to many in Houston, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. He was born in Nacogdoches, Texas, to Alma and Rufus Beavers and was raised in Garrison alongside his brother Billy and sisters Joann, Bobbie, and Lenda.
Bryan attended school in Garrison, where he formed lifelong friendships—one of the most important being with Wayne Hough. It was through Wayne that he met Linda, the woman who would become his wife and life partner.
Before marriage, Bryan welcomed his first son, Stormy, with Jerri. After meeting Linda, the two married, moved to Houston, and built a life together. Bryan’s first job was at a feed store, but before long he began his career as a longshoreman at the Port of Houston. He proudly joined the Longshoremen’s Union and worked on the waterfront for many years. During their time in Houston, Bryan and Linda welcomed three children: Brenda, Bryan Jr. (Bubba), and Robin.
Bryan later moved his family back to Garrison, where he operated a dairy farm for several years before returning to Houston to start a successful stevedore supply company. After selling his business, he moved to Center, Texas, planning to retire—but retirement never quite stuck. He adopted his son Bradly, whom he was exceedingly proud of, and went on to build another thriving venture that included rental storage units, rental homes, and an RV park.
Bryan lived life with energy, humor, and a deep love for the outdoors. He enjoyed shooting skeet and was a proud member of the skeet club. He also had a race car that kept him busy and smiling. He loved deep-sea fishing, hunting, traveling, and especially putting his boat into the water—fresh or salt. Every boat trip became a story: forgetting the boat key at home, running out of gas, or some unexpected twist that turned an ordinary outing into an adventure. These memories will continue to bring joy to those who loved him.
He is survived by:
Daughters:
Brenda Whiteman and husband Jon of Livingston, Texas
Robin Beavers of Timpson, Texas
Son, Bradly Beavers of Tenaha, Texas
Sister, Lenda Rathwell of League City, Texas
Seventeen great-grandchildren who brought him immense pride and joy.
He is preceded in death by parents, Rufus and Alma Beavers; sons, Stormy and Bryan Jr. (Bubba); brother, Billy; sisters, Joann and Bobbie; and one great-grandson Tyler.
Bryan’s life was full—full of work, full of stories, full of family, and full of adventure. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who loved him.
Services are under the direction of Taylor Funeral Home, Timpson, Texas.

For games he could not attend, he would often be found at the farm rooting on his team with family and lifelong family friends.
Neilson’s life of leadership in his community and family was evident in his dedication to building on roads of service paved by generations before him. He carefully tended and grew the seeds planted by his predecessors, and his beloved family and the Shelby County community continues to benefit from his selfless dedication. Lloyd “PeeWee” Stephens, 67, of Logansport, Louisiana, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2025, in Logansport, Louisiana.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, December 15, 2025, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Keith Keele officiating. Interment will follow at Reeves Cemetery in Logan, Texas.
Born May 18, 1958, Lloyd is the son of Floyd “Cotton” Stephens and Jewel Gaston Stephens. On August 5, 1977, he married the love of his life, Brenda C. Stephens, and the two were married for forty-eight years. He was a true workaholic – even during chemo, he pushed through fifteen-hour workdays. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing and spending time on his tractor. Lloyd also found great joy in taking care of Phyllis, his nineteen-year-old Pomeranian dog, whom he held in high esteem. He loved aggravating his daughter-in-law and even changed her last name from Agnew to Nagnew. Stubborn to the core, he was known for many things, but his greatest title was PeePaw. His grandson was his heartbeat, and the two of them thrived on arguing and annoying each other. If it hadn’t been for his kids aggravating him, he might not have made it through his eleven-year battle with cancer. Lloyd never met a stranger and was a natural joker. No matter how bad his day was, he did all he could to make someone laugh. He was a prankster, a nutcase in the best way, and his family wouldn’t have wanted him any other way.

Hector Pineda Gonzalez, 66, of Tenaha, Texas, went peacefully into the presence of the Lord on December 5, 2025, in Shreveport, Louisiana, surrounded by his loving family
Hector was born on July 3, 1959, in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, to Benjamin Pineda and Graciela Gonzalez.
Visitation will be held from 5-8PM on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Mangum Funeral Home in Center, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2PM on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Mangum Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery, Tenaha, Texas.
From a young age, Hector was known as a hardworking, responsible, and intelligent man. At just 12 years old, he discovered a lifelong passion for welding, work that reflected his determination, creativity, and strong work ethic. He later worked in the coal mines repairing coal cars, never shying away from labor and always finding a way to solve any problem placed before him. If Hector didn’t know how to do something, he would simply figure it out.
At the young age of 15, Hector participated in jaripeos en Minas de la Luz, riding with such courage that even after falling with the saddle still on, the bull could not defeat him.
He later earned the nickname “La Rasuradora” from his time playing baseball, where he proudly wore number 5 and played third base, known for never leaving anything unfinished. In 1978, he bravely moved to the United States in pursuit of a better future for his family.
Hector was a man grounded in his beliefs and guided by strong values. He often said, “A good pitcher always checks first base,” a phrase he used to remind others that in life we must stay alert, be prepared, and protect what matters most, our family, our responsibilities, and our values. He met the love of his life in the third grade and always said it was love at first sight. Their love story became the foundation of a beautiful family legacy.
More than any title he ever held, Hector was most proud to be a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. His family was his greatest treasure and his greatest joy. Though known as a strong and sometimes stern man, his grandchildren brought out the softest, sweetest side of him. Becoming a grandparent was truly the pride of his life.
In his free time, Hector enjoyed working, playing billiards, dominoes, baseball, dancing with his grandchildren, and sharing laughter with those he loved. In his younger years, he loved playing baseball, carrying that love for the game throughout his life.
Hector will forever be remembered as a devoted man, a selfless provider, a loyal husband, a loving father, and a proud grandfather whose greatest joy was always his family. His legacy of hard work, and unconditional love will continue through the many lives he touched.
