City of Joaquin Issues Boil Water Notice for May 26

May 26, 2026 - Due to a busted main line at the water distribution system, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has required the City of Joaquin/2100010 public water system to notify all customers to boil their water prior to consumption (e.g., washing hands/face, brushing teeth, drinking, etc.). Children, seniors, and persons with weakened immune systems are particularly vulnerable to harmful bacteria, and all customers should follow these directions).

Woodland Shores Rescinds Boil Water Notice

January 17, 2023 - On December 26, 2022, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the Woodland Shores Subdivision public water system, #2100037, to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.

Public Notice from Sand Hill Water Supply

February 14, 2019 - In response to many concerns about the Sand Hill Water Supply, a temporary change has been made to the treatment process to improve the quality of water being served to our customers. During this time we will be conducting a free chlorine burnout. Some taste and odor changes may briefly occur, but there are no associated health risks. The treatment process will start February 13, 2019 and end within 60 days.
