November 4, 2025 - The New Prospect Cemetery located on 4930 FM1645 (intersection of CR 4240), east of Timpson, Texas, will have a historical marker dedication ceremony at the cemetery on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 11am. The cemetery was recognized by the Texas Historical Commission in 2023 as a historical cemetery established in 1885. Our supporters and the public are welcome and the adjoining church building will be open for fellowship and refreshments.
June 5, 2023 - The New Prospect Cemetery Association will hold its annual Homecoming event on Sunday, June 11th at the church on FM 1645 near Timpson.
