December 29, 2022 - Emergency conservation measures effected on December 26th are now retracted. The water system has recovered with reductions from excessive use due to customer repairs and actions on several line leaks. While operations have not returned completely to normal tank levels and some water loss remains evident, the system has recovered such that restrictions on use are no longer necessary.
October 25, 2019 - The Center City Council will meet in Regular Session on Monday, October 28, 2019 at 5pm in Council Room at Center City Hall. The following items are on the agenda for appropriate action:

June 27, 2017 - Celebrate Independence Day early this year at the Dixie Youth State Baseball Tournament Opening Ceremonies this Friday night, June 30, 2017.
Last year, the opening featured a fireworks display and this year’s will be even more grand. What better way to kick off the weekend before the 4th of July than celebrating the enthusiasm of hundreds of youth ready to play baseball and enjoying the first fireworks show of the season?
April 17, 2015 - The City has received reports of kids accessing pump and intake platforms at Lake Pinkston for diving or jumping. Photos of young teens jumping from the shallow side intake pier along CR 1211 were obtained by the City this week. Signs are posted for the public’s safety from not only high voltage electrical equipment but also hazardous situations.
February 27, 2015 - Currently a private insurance company, HomeServe, is selling a home insurance product and possibly implying it is associated with or endorsed by the City of Center or Center Utilities.
While the product they are selling is legitimate and potentially beneficial for homeowners experiencing some types of water or sewer line problems on their private property, it is in no way associated with or endorsed by the City of Center or Center Utilities.
