Grill fest 2020 Scheduled for July 17th-18th at Rodeo Arena (Cancelled)

Update July 6, 2020: In light of Governor Greg Abbott's mandate last week, Grill Fest has been cancelled.

Grill Fest 2020 Presented by Farmers State Bank

July 1, 2020 - The Grill Fest sanctioned barbecue cook-off, presented by Farmers State Bank, will take place in a few weeks on Saturday, July 18th at the Shelby County Expo Center/Rodeo Arena. The Gold Sponsors are Badders Law Firm, Pilgrims Pride, and Tyson Foods. The Entertainment is sponsored by Rapid Payday and Title Loans LLC.

44th Annual East Texas Poultry Festival Set for October

June 8, 2020 - Plans for the 2020 East Texas Poultry Festival, Sponsored by Farmers State Bank, are underway. This year’s festival will take place October 1st, 2nd and 3rd at the John D. Windham Civic Center just off of Hurst Street in Center.

Chamber Reschedules Grill Fest

March 18, 2020 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce announces the Grill Fest which was scheduled for April 4th has been postponed. The Chamber has tentatively rescheduled the event to June 6th.

Attention Chamber Ambassadors: Wednesday Meeting Cancelled

March 16, 2020 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Ambassador meeting scheduled for Wednesday, March 18 has been postponed. Target reschedule date is mid-April and the chamber will let ambassadors know when the new date has been set.

Health and Fitness Fair Postponed

March 16, 2020 - The Health and Fitness Fair has been postponed. We have communicated with a number of health care providers and we are all in agreement that it is best to postpone the Health and Fitness Fair until later in the year.

Our plans are to reschedule the Health and Fitness Fair for fall when we will be able to offer the same screenings and testing as well as offer flu shots.

We apologize for any inconvenience but the health and safety of our community is a number one priority.

13th Annual Health, Fitness Fair March 19 (Postponed)

The Annual Health and Fitness Fair, will be held on Thursday, March 19 at the Windham Civic Center from 9am until 2:30pm. The Event is hosted by the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Texas A&M Agri-Life Extension Services.

March 9, 2020 - The Healthcare committee of the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce is hosting the 13th Annual Health and Fitness Fair, Thursday, March 19 at the Windham Civic Center from 9:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. The fair is free to the public and will feature over 30 vendors with give aways and door prizes. Cline Family Medicine is the Presenting Sponsor of this year’s event along with Gold sponsors, Focused Care of Center, Hope Community Medicine and Nacogdoches Medical Center.
