Center Glass Under New Ownership

July 7, 2017 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce would like to announce that Center Glass is under new ownership. As of July 1, Justin and Anna Lee became the new owners of the company. The public and Chamber members will be invited to a ribbon cutting to celebrate the new ownership at a later date.

Center Floral & Gifts to Host Business After Hours

June 29, 2017 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors with Elizabeth Pinkston, owner of Center Floral & Gifts, will welcome Chamber members to a Business After Hours event on Thursday, June 29 from 5pm to 6:30pm at their new location at 135 Shelbyville Street on the downtown Center square. There will be live music by Zach Mason, door prize drawing and refreshments will be served.

Center Middle School Junior Chamber Members Help With Recycle/Disposal Day

May 22, 2017 - Junior Chamber of Commerce members from the Center Middle School were on hand to help with the Annual Recycle/Disposal Day held in May. They assisted with unloading cars and trucks and stacking items in the dumpsters.

Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting Planned for Center Nutrition

May 15, 2017 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors invite the public to join them for a Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting for Center Nutrition, on Tuesday, May 23 at 11:00 a.m. It will be held at their location at 500 Hurst Street in Center.

Chamber to Welcome Generations Concrete

May 9, 2017 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors invite the public to join them for a new member ribbon cutting for Generations Concrete, on Tuesday, May 9 at 4:00 p.m. The Chamber will host the ribbon cutting at the Chamber office on the downtown square.

Electronics Disposal Day Slated for May 6

May 3, 2017 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Shelby Beautiful Clean committee has set the date for the Recycle/Disposal Day, Saturday, May 6, beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Chamber will have two dumpsters on the downtown square to accept items for recycle and disposal. Items will be accepted until the dumpsters are full.

First Responders Appreciation Lunch Slated for May 19

May 1, 2017 - Center Independent School District and the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors will host an Appreciation Lunch for First Responders, presented by McAdams Propane, throughout Shelby County on Friday, May 19 between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. at the Center ISD bus barn located on Loop 500.

First responders including police officers, department of public safety officers, constables, Sheriff Deputies, firemen, medics, Game Wardens and law enforcement officials will be honored guests.

April 27, 2017 - Aurora Concepts Family Medical Practice is hosting an open house on Friday, April 28, 2017 from 12noon until 2pm. Aurora Concepts is proud to welcome back Bridget Hughes, MSN, RN, FNP-BC and invites the community to come and welcome her back as well.
