2023 Shelbyville Academic UIL Students Medal at Regional Meet

April 24, 2023 - Shelbyville High School Academic UIL students competed at the Region III-AA Academic UIL Meet at Panola College on April 21st and 22nd. The following students received awards:

  • Justin Filz – Science (4th Place)
  • Ethan Jackson – Number Sense (3rd Place)
  • Maddie Lout – Persuasive Speaking (5th Place)
  • Kennedy McArthur – Lincoln Douglas Debate (6th Place)
  • Kaylin Miller – Editorial Writing (3rd Place), Feature Writing (4th Place), News Writing (3rd Place)
  • Kason Parker – Number Sense (1st Place)
  • Malachi Sierra – Number Sense (6th Place)
  • Ava Silva – Informative Speaking (2nd Place), Poetry Interpretation (3rd Place)
  • Tristan Vickers – Computer Applications (6th Place)
  • Kason Parker, Ethan Jackson, Malachi Sierra, Abby Shofner – Number Sense Team (1st Place)
  • Speech Team (2nd Place)
