November 25, 2025 - My name is Roy H. Bailey, and I am pleased to announce my candidacy for Justice of the Peace, Precinct 2, Shelby County, Texas.
I am a lifelong resident of Shelby County. I have been married to my wife Alicia for 35 years and together we have a son, Brady. I have proudly served our community for over 30 years in law enforcement as a deputy with the Shelby County Sheriff’s Department, Deputy with Constable’s Office, Precinct 1 and 2, and as a school resource officer for Shelbyville ISD.
I believe my experience, dedication and deep roots in this community have prepared me for this role. I would be honored to continue serving the people of Shelby County, and I appreciate your consideration.
