December 12, 2017 - The ATSSB (Association of Texas Small School Bands) Middle School and High School All-Region band auditions were held on December 8th and 9th. The following students earned a chair in the region band:
- Lizbeth Bautista: B-Flat Clarinet, HS Symphonic Band
- Dawson Jackson: Euphonium, East Zone MS Band
- Naomi Caporali: B-Flat Clarinet, East Zone MS Band
We are proud of all our Shelbyville Dragon band students that auditioned at the contest, and look forward to seeing our band members represent Shelbyville at the All-Region Bands concert on January 13, 2018 at Chapel Hill High School.
