Bryan Gray Announces Candidacy for Re-Election, Constable Pct 4

December 17, 2015 - I grew up in Tenaha and after graduating, went on to pursue a career in the newspaper field. After 30+ years I was ready to start a new chapter in my life. I have always wanted to be in law enforcement. I attended the East Texas Police Academy and graduated in June 2010. My goal was to become a licensed Peace Officer and come back home and serve the community I grew up in with Loyalty, Integrity, and Respect.

In June 2010, I became a Reserve Officer for the Tenaha City Marshal’s Office and in March of 2011 became a full-time Deputy City Marshal. In January 2013, I was honored to take office as the Shelby County Pct. 4 Constable.

My loyalty to the citizens of Tenaha and Precinct 4 has never wavered. My law enforcement career has always been here. This is the only place I want to be. I have no intentions of building a resume so I can move on later. If you keep me as Constable, this is where I plan to serve the community until I retire.

The Constable’s Office has always been my first priority. I have been involved with the community working with and assisting Tenaha City Marshal Office and all law enforcement. Additionally, I work closely with Tenaha ISD and Chief David Jeter of the Tenaha ISD Police Department to keep our students safe. In my spare time I enjoy involvement with the Tenaha Youth Center and the Tenaha Volunteer Fire Department.

I would like to highlight that my campaign has been self-funded and I will not allow any other person to influence my decision making.

If you allowed me to remain as your constable, I will continue to build this office into one the citizens can be proud of and respect. My opponent and I are both running on the Republican ticket on March 1, 2016.

March 1, 2016 will decide who your Constable will be effective January 1, 2017.
