Car, Water Truck Collide in Hurst Street Construction

June 7, 2019 - The intersection of Hurst and Crawford Streets was the scene of a two-vehicle collision in a construction zone Friday, June 7, 2019.

It appeared a black Mercury Grand Marquis passenger had been traveling south on Hurst Street when the car collided with an International truck hauling a water tanker.

As a result the Mercury received damage to its front left quarter panel and the International received some damage to its passenger side.

It appeared no one involved had any injuries. No additional information is available at this time pending the release of information by the Center Police Department.

Travelers are urged to use caution when traveling through area construction zones.
