June 17, 2015 - On Sunday, June 14, 2015 CASA of Deep East Texas, Volunteer Supervisor, Denise Belrose, was invited to attend the Vacation Bible School Award Ceremony at the Neuville Baptist Church. Pastor Larry Byrd presented a generous donation from Bible School participants.
Belrose spoke about the need for CASA Volunteers in Shelby and San Augustine Counties. In our county, CASA is currently serving 58 children. 43 of those children have a volunteer. If you are 21 years of age or older and have a desire to be the voice for 1 of the remaining 15 children in foster care who do not have a volunteer, please call the CASA office at (936)591-9553.
CASA wishes to express there appreciation to the Neuville Baptist Church members for their donation and the opportunity to speak about the foster children in Shelby County.
