Center Garden Club Delivers Flowers at Christmas

January 27, 2016 - As part of a special project Center Garden Club members recently shared plants with two institutions which provide essential services to the community.

In December, Jackie Hancock and Judy Mathews delivered poinsettias to nursing home residents and later that month Ann Hitt, Carolyn Bounds, and Cherry Jones delivered a Christmas Norfolk pine to the Center Post Office to welcome the new postmaster Steven Standley and express season's greetings to both Center postal employees and their patrons.

In the future Center Garden Club members will recognize with either plants or floral designs other institutions meeting various community needs.
