September 21, 2026 - The Center Garden Club held their first meeting of the 2026 / 2027 year in the home of Lisa Albers. The meeting was called to order by club president Carolyn Bounds.

Plans and events were discussed for the coming year including hosting the Tyler Area Council NGC (National Garden Club) Small Standard Flower Show with the theme Celebrate the Harvest. The show will be held on Friday, October 2, 2026 at the Center Community House on 425 San Augustine Street. The show will be open to the public from 2pm to 4pm.

June 22, 2026 - Center Garden Club is pleased to present its Yard of the Month (July 2026) award to Mr. Bill Holt of 429 Pine Terrace.

February 19, 2026 - In keeping with the Center Garden Club’s goal of sharing natures beauty throughout our community club member Cherry Jones has placed this lovely bouquet at the Community House for all early voters to enjoy.

February 2, 2026 - Center Garden Club Youth Committee members Jennifer Whittlesey (chair) and Alane Sheaves recently visited Mrs. Brittain's Center High School horticulture class to present a program focusing on Texas native species emphasizing the role that they play in our ecosystem.
