Center ISD Food Service Waiver for Student Meals 2020-2021

October 30, 2020 - The new Child Nutrition Program guidelines set forth by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) recently announced the continued extension of nationwide flexibilities that allow free school meals for all children throughout the entire 2020-2021 school year.

This waiver allows the Center ISD Child Nutrition Department to customize meal service to suit specific needs of our community, school and children.

1. Beginning Monday, November 2, 2020 throughout the school year ending on May 27, 2021 all breakfast and lunch meals will be provided free to all Center ISD students as well as students enrolled with disabilities up to 21 years of age.

2. Meals will be provided from 10am to 10:30am at the Center High School Cafeteria for children 18 and younger in our area. Pickup will be in the back parking lot behind the Center High School gym. If the child is not in school and under 18 the child must be present to receive a meal. Parents must wear a mask at all times.

For additional information on no cost meals served to our students and children, please contact your Child Nutrition Director at Center ISD at 936-598-1599.
