December 1, 2015 - It's not too late to get your flu shot, vaccinations or blood screenings! The blood screening includes: Metabolic Panel, Lipid Panel, Hemoglobin A1c (diabetes), Complete Blood Count (CBC), Thyroid Panel (TSH, T3 and T4), Vitamin D and Prostate Cancer Screen (PSA). Also available: blood pressure, body mass index, weight, flu shot, Tetanus-diphtheria-pertussis (Td/Tdap) vaccine and pneumonia vaccine.
This screening is a covered benefit under TRS Active Care but is available to all employees.
Employees covered under other AETNA or Blue Cross PPO plans must call the customer service number and ask about your eligibility. If eligible, bring your insurance card.
You can also call 598-3296 and ask for Crystal and she will obtain a verification of insurance for you.
Employees who do not have the health insurance - the fees are $60.00 for thyroid panel, Vitamin D, CBC, CMP, Lipids or $70.00 for Thyroid Panel Vitamin D, CBC, CMP, Lipids and HgA1c.
Please bring your insurance card to the screening.
December 7th - CHS, Room 104 at 7am to 8:30am
December 8th - CMS, in the library at 7am to 8:30am
December 9th - CIS, teachers work room at 7am to 8:30am
December 10th - CES, teachers lounge at 7am to 8:30am
December 11th - FLM, teachers lounge at 7am to 8:30am
December 11th - Administration, conference room at 9am to 10:00am
All participants are financially responsible for testing not paid by their insurance.
