December 7, 2016 - Center Motor Company presented Center Athletic Booster Club with a check for $3,300 provided by the Lincoln Driven to Give program on Tuesday, December 6, 2016.
Through the Lincoln Driven to Give program, Center Motor Company was able to partner with the Center Athletic Booster Club and in effect donate to the group to benefit Center Roughrider Athletics.
During October, Center Motor Company offered the opportunity through the program for individuals to test drive a Lincoln and as a result, each test drive would generate a $20 donation from Lincoln.
Representing the Center Athletic Booster Club and receiving the check on behalf of the group were Ben Wulf, Deuce Wulf, Matthew Mettauer, and Rose Jenkins.
Kevin Jones, Center Motor Company General Manager, says those who did test drive a car are eligible for a $750 rebate if they decide to purchase a Lincoln and four people have in fact taken advantage of that benefit.
Jones said this fundraiser is great because it's not a pressure to buy a new car, it just gives people the opportunity to get in a Lincoln and see what they're like while also helping raise money. The fundraiser did have a maximum potential to raise $8,000.
