Center PD Announces Officer Promotions

February 2, 2022 - The Center Police Department presented promotions to five of its officers this week.

On January 31, 2022, Chief Jim Albers promoted three very hard working and dedicated Officers of the Center Police Department. Jeremy Bittick was promoted and pinned with Captain bars, Ricky King was promoted and pinned with Lieutenant bars, and Andrew Williams was promoted and pinned with a Sergeants badge. Captain Jeremy Bittick will serve as the second in command, overseeing the operations of the entire department, he will be responsible for grants and other administrative duties in assistance to Chief Albers.

Lieutenant Ricky King will serve as third in command, and will oversee the day to day operations of the Criminal Investigation Division, as well as SWAT operations.

Sergeant Andrew Williams will serve as fourth in command, and will be responsible for the day to day operations of the patrol division, fleet, training, and assist the oversight of SWAT operations.

These three fine men have shown dedication that is second to none to the citizens of Center, the Police Department, and other agencies.

On February 1, 2022, Chief Albers promoted and presented Bobby Walker and Bubba Lee with their Detective Sergeant badges.

Bobby Walker has faithfully served the citizens of Center as a Detective for several years and his hard work and dedication has gained him the rank of Detective Sergeant.

Bubba Lee has served the citizens of Center as a Patrolman and has gone above and beyond in his work, due to his dedication and hard work Bubba Lee was promoted to Detective Sergeant as well.
