Today is not just about a new title or a new badge, it is about recognizing years of dedication, leadership, and commitment to serving the community with integrity. Throughout his career, this officer has demonstrated the qualities we value most in law enforcement: professionalism, sound judgment, and the ability to lead by example. Whether responding to difficult calls, mentoring younger officers, or making tough decisions in the field, he has consistently shown the kind of character that earns respect from colleagues and trust from the public.
"A Lieutenant’s role carries greater responsibility. It requires not only experience, but the ability to guide others, support a team, and uphold the standards of this department every day. Based on everything we’ve seen from this officer, there is no doubt in my mind that he is ready for that challenge. To the family and loved ones here today, thank you for your support, this makes this career possible. Behind every successful officer is a family that shares in the sacrifices and pride.
