March 4, 2016 - Two Center Roughrider powerlifters, Witt Dockens and JaCarlos Hall, have qualified to compete in the Texas State Powerlifting Championship meet in Abilene, Texas on April 2nd. On March 3, JaCarlos Hall and Witt Dockens placed 2nd at the Regional Powerlifting meet in Lindale.
At the Region III Division II Championship meet Hall lifted a total of 1,225 lbs in the 165 lb class earning 2nd place. Hall squatted 485 lbs, bench pressed 285 lbs, and deadlifted 455 lbs.
Dockens lifted a total of 1,250lbs earning 2nd place in the 181 lb class. Dockens squatted 500 lbs, bench pressed 315 lbs, and deadlifted 445 lbs.
