October 25, 2018 - The CHS Tennis Team is in the playoffs! To this point, they won their district contests, the bi-district, and the area round in shut-outs, winning all the games. Monday at the Regional Quarterfinals, the Team beat Palestine 10 games to 3.
This morning (October 25th) they compete in the Regional Semifinals -- or the Sweet 16 -- in Bryan against Lamar Fulshire, a new school built only last year. Center is ranked #1 in the Region, but Lamar should prove a good test.
To follow the team today, log on to Facebook and find the "Center Roughrider Radio Broadcast Team" page. We will provide a live feed of portions of all the games (as best we can with a phone and an ipad!) Coverage begins at 8:30 a.m. Thursday morning -- check in from the office or on your morning break!
