June 20, 2024 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors invite the public to join them at a New Owner Ribbon Cutting for Center Tire Company on Friday, June 21st at 10am. Shelby County Cookers will be cooking and serving lunch from 10:30 until 12 noon.
Trey Byrnes, new owner of both Center Tire and Haslam Tire Company, is looking forward to his new business venture. Trey, born in Center and a graduate of Center High School is honored Mary Lynn and Steve Tinkle have given him the opportunity to carry on the business which they started over 50 years ago. With 8 years experience in the tire industry, Trey will continue to take care of the community with their tire and automotive needs.
At Center and Haslam Tire they provide tires for passenger cars, light trucks, 18 wheelers, tractors, lawn, garden and forestry and construction equipment. They also provide wheels for vehicles and trailers. They offer Road Side Services during and after hours as well as a mobile mechanic. Their mechanics service brakes, rotors, oil changes, suspension part replacements, freon changes and greasing trailer bearings.
As Trey, his family, and the staff at Center and Haslam Tire embark on this new adventure, they hope to continue serving the community and surrounding areas.
