Veronica’s is located at 818 Shelbyville Street. The public is invited to attend to celebrate. Free samples of the delicious food will be offered and plan on staying for lunch.
October 14, 2019 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce will celebrating its 100th Anniversary at the Annual Awards Banquet on November 7th at 6:30 at the Windham Civic Center.
Over the course of the past 100 years, the Chamber of Commerce has been exceedingly fortunate in having outstanding business and community leaders give of their time, energy, resources and leadership. By the end of the evening, more exceptional community leaders will be recognized and their names will be added to the list of leaders.
October 9, 2019 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Santa’s Christmas Parade Committee announces the 2019 parade will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2019 beginning at 6:00pm. The Parade is presented by Shelby Savings Bank. The theme for this year’s parade is “Songs of the Season”.
Categories for the 2019 Parade will include: Individuals, Schools, Businesses, Churches and Civic Organizations. Judges will award cash prizes to the top three places in each category. The Float Competition Sponsor is the City of Center.
October 1, 2019 - Congratulations to the 2019 East Texas Poultry Festival Queen’s Court. Kristen Orsak was crowned the 2019 East Texas Poultry Festival Queen at the coronation held Saturday, September 28th. First runner-up was Princess Tatum Mettauer and Second runner-up Princess Kaitlin Williams.
September27, 2019 - The Rooster Breakfast, Sponsored by East Texas Poultry Supply, is a new fun addition to the Saturday morning activities Poultry Festival weekend.
Saturday morning, October5th at 8am at Raymond Motors, the Center High School Culinary Arts students will be serving breakfast. This will be perfect for the 5K runners following the race as well as all spectators, Broiler Show participants and the early birds getting ready for the car show.
