June 10, 2024 - Planning is well underway for the Annual Community Wellness Fair, Presented by Cline Family Medicine. The Community Wellness Fair will be held Friday, August 9th from 9:00am until 2:00pm at the Windham Civic Center. The Chamber of Commerce is currently accepting applications for vendors. May 14, 2024 - The 48th Annual East Texas Poultry Festival, presented by Farmers State Bank, is right around the corner – October 3, 4 and 5. Don’t miss this opportunity to showcase your creative side in art, quilting, canning, crafts, woodworking, metal art, photography, and baking.

All creative art divisions and are open to Youth (6th through 12th grades) and Adults (17 and older). The art division will also be open to Elementary (K – through 5th).

May 6, 2024 - Shred Day is scheduled for this Friday, May 10th from 10am until 2pm. The Shredding truck will be on the downtown square in front of the Chamber offices.

The Shredding service is provided free to the public as a service of the Shelby County Beautiful Clean program of the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce and our generous Presenting Sponsor, Republic Services and our generous Gold Sponsor, Farmers State Bank.

Community members are invited to bring documents that need to be shredded.

April 17, 2024 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Ribbon Cutting to celebrate with the Rotary Club of Center the new renovation of the Redditt Room of the Fannie Brown Booth Memorial Library on Tuesday, April 30th at 12 noon.

The Rotary Club of Center utilized a Rotary District 5910 grant to remove the stage and replace the carpet in the Redditt Room where children activities are often held along with other adult community programs and meetings.
