The Sale on the Trail will be July 31st and August 1st this year.

We are still on for Sassafras which will be our 30th Annual SASSAFRAS!!!!! We hope this year there will be new exciting things to come! The Sassafras Festival is scheduled for the 4th weekend in October (22nd).

A few things going on around town are :

We also have a couple of ribbon-cuttings coming up soon.

Our first ribbon cutting will be our Broaddus Hardware on the Square to be held on Monday, June 22nd at 2:00 pm. They will be serving freshly brewed coffee and iced tea samples that day. Then on Saturday, June 27th they will have their Grand Opening and will be giving away free slices of pizza. The Grand Opening will be from 10am to 1pm. So please come on out and join us to celebrate the new store in Broaddus!

The next ribbon cutting will be for El Potosino. El Potosino has been open for a little while and now that they are a little more familiar with everything they are ready to get the official ribbon-cutting underway! So please join us at El Potosino on Wednesday, July 1st at El Potosino for their ribbon-cutting ceremony at 3pm.

The Chamber office is open and you are welcome, but please wear your mask.
