November 15, 2019 - Roy Cheatwood announces candidacy for Constable Precinct 3 for the upcoming election held March 2020.
I was elected in 2016 as Constable. I would like the opportunity to serve for another four years. It's been my pleasure to have served the citizens of Precinct 3, and to work with Shelby and Panola County, DPS, DeSoto Parish Sheriff's Office and other law enforcement agencies throughout Texas.
My goal was and is the same, to work, be available and serve the citizens in Precinct 3. I believe I've done that. I'll let my record speak for itself, I have located and returned 20 stolen motor vehicles, numerous guns, drugs and made many felony arrests.
Without your help I could not have been so successful in my three years in office.
