May 22, 2019 - Center Mayor David Chadwick discussed "The State of the City" to the Golden Harvest Ministries Club at their May 20,2019 meeting at the Fellowship Hall Of the First Baptist Church in Center, Texas. Using a display of the future "Downtown Square Streetscape" he outlined the improvements to be made. He also discussed upcoming events for the summer and the positive effects they will have on the economy.
Tables were decorated with pots of colorful Gerba Daisies which were used as door prizes. Linda Bordelon presented one to President Bobbie Nutt.
