August 20, 2025 - The City Council of Joaquin will meet for a Special Called Council Meeting on Monday, August 25, 2025 at 5pm at the Joaquin ISD Board Room located at 11109 US HWY, Joaquin, Texas.
The following items are on the agenda for appropriate action:
1. Call to Order:
2. Roll Call: To establish a quorum
City Council will convene into Executive Session in accordance with the Texas Government Code Section Sec. 551.087. DELIBERATION REGARDING ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT NEGOTIATIONS.
3. Discuss and take action: Funding for Texas Motorcycle Jubilee to promote the City of Joaquin, businesses and organizations.
4. Council Items: Reports by the members of the City Council on matters not on the agenda will be made at this time.
5. Adjourn.
The Council reserves the right to retire into executive session concerning any of the items listed on this agenda whenever it is considered necessary and is legally justified under the Open Meetings Act.
