September 8, 2025 - The City of Joaquin of Shelby County, Texas plans to apply for Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funding from the Texas General Land Office (GLO) related to the 2024 Disasters included the Texas Severe Storms, Straight-line Winds, Tornadoes, and Flooding (DR-4781) and Hurricane Beryl (DR-4798) and is soliciting proposals to provide application, administration and/or planning services for CDBG-DR contract(s), if awarded.
Please submit your proposal of services and a statement of qualifications for the proposed services digitally (PDF or Word): City of Joaquin, Citysecretary@cityofjoaquin.net. Proposals must be received by the city of Joaquin no later than 2pm, Monday, September 22, 2025 to be considered.
The City of Joaquin reserves the right to negotiate with any and all individuals or firms that submit proposals and may award one or more contracts to one or more service provider(s). Section 3 Residents and Business Concerns, Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises and Women Business Enterprises, and Labor Surplus Area firms are encouraged to submit proposals.
