April 7, 2026 - A Low Cost Spay/Neuter and Pet Wellness Clinic is held in Center every fourth Saturday from 10-3p. The next clinics in Center will take place Saturday, April 25 and Saturday, May 23 at Goodwill Shopping Center in Center, Texas located at 1155 Tenaha Street. We offer dog/cat vaccines, heartworm tests/prevention, flea/tick prevention, microchips, and nail trims.

January 23, 2026 - Shelby County Precinct 4 is accepting sealed bids for one (1) 12' x 24' portable building equipped with window air conditioning and heat.

The building may be inspected at the Precinct 4 County Barn, located at 13321 State Highway 87 N, Timpson, Texas, between the hours of 6:30am and 3pm. For after‑hours viewing, contact Mr. Bellmyer at (936) 254‑4571.
