March 11, 2022 - Notice is hereby given that a meeting of the governing body of the City of Timpson will be held on the 15th day of March, 2022 at 5:30 pm at Timpson City Hall, 456 Jacob Street, Timpson, Texas, at which time the following subjects will be considered, to-wit:
1. Call to Order

4. Council Items: Reports by the members of the City Council on matters not on the agenda will be made at this time. A total, not to exceed 10 minutes will be devoted to these reports.

6. Citizens Input: This time is provided for members of the public to address the City Council on items that appear within the Consent and Action Items or a matter not listed on the agenda. Each speaker is limited to 3 minutes. A Citizens Input Form may be filled out and filed with the City Secretary prior to the meeting.

City Secretary: A drawing was held on February 25th for placement on the ballot. George Grace will be listed 1st, Teri Alexander 2nd, Tuffy Green 3rd, and Kenny Walker 4th.

REGULAR AGENDA ITEMS (8-13)
8. Discuss and take action: Inter local Agreement between TISD and the City of Timpson to hold a General Election May 7, 2022.
9. Discuss and take action: Discuss and consider appointment of clerk/judge for the up-coming election.
10. Discuss and take action: Order of Notice, General Election to be held on May 7th, 2022 to elect two City Council Members and City Mayor.
11. Discuss and take action: Discuss and consider Mark Lawn Care’s request to increase the the monthly price from $1,475 to $1,650 due to the rise in costs for fuel, equipment and labor.
12. Discuss and take action: Discuss and Amend the 2021-2022 Electric Budget to reflect
A) additional income line for LAND SALE PROCEEDS of $149,700 bringing the final revenue to $1,834,200 and
B) Transfer of Funds from Electric to General - Street Improvements of $44,700 bringing total Expenditures and Transfers Out to $1,676,244. Total Change to Electric Fund brings PROFIT/INC IN FUND to $157,956.
13. Discuss and take action: Discuss and consider authorizing the mayor to review and enter into an agreement for pole attachment with Spectrum Gulf Coast, LLC. This agreement is needed in order to complete Charter Communications rural broadband expansion project, which is an initiative to expand broadband availability to unserved communities in Texas.
14. Discuss and take action: Discuss and consider approval of the quote from NAFECO in the amount of $2,275.14 to repair Fire Truck #1.
15. Adjourn.
