September 25, 2025 - Notice is hereby given that a special meeting of the governing body of the City of Timpson will be held on the 29th day of September 2025 at 5:30 PM at City Hall, 456 Jacob St., Timpson, Texas, at which time the following subjects will be considered, to-wit:
1. Discuss and possibly take action: Discuss and consider adopting the 2025-2026 Proposed Tax Rate. Read the proposed ordinance regarding the proposed tax rate and percentage of increase, if any.
2. Discuss and possibly take action: Ordinance 20250929-03 adopting the Final Budget for all departments and funds for fiscal year 2025-2026.
3. Discuss and possibly take action: Ordinance 20250929-01 approval for governing the use of City Right of Way.
4. Discuss and possibly take action: Approval for the proposed rate increase for electric/kw for city customers.
5. Discuss and possibly take action: Review, discuss and possibly take action on quote for John Deere tractor and Modern Path-Slayer mower.
The Council reserves the right to retire into executive session concerning any of the items listed on this agenda whenever it is considered necessary and is legally justified under the Open Meetings Act.
