June 10, 2024 - Planning is well underway for the Annual Community Wellness Fair, Presented by Cline Family Medicine. The Community Wellness Fair will be held Friday, August 9th from 9:00am until 2:00pm at the Windham Civic Center. The Chamber of Commerce is currently accepting applications for vendors. The Community Wellness Fair is hosted by the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Texas A&M Agri-Life Extension Office. The purpose and goal of the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Health Care Committee and the Community Wellness Fair is to educate Shelby County and surrounding areas about health and wellness resources in the area pertaining to their personal health and well being.
The health and wellness industry encompasses all businesses and activities which promote physical and mental well being for all ages and stages of life. From the traditional approaches to a more holistic approach; from a fitness program to healthy eating; personal care and beauty; nutrition and weight loss; mindfulness and mental health and more.
