Colette Cross DePriest Announces Candidacy for Tenaha ISD Board of Trustee

April 25, 2016 - Hello, my name is Colette Cross DePriest. I am announcing my candidacy for the Tenaha ISD Board of Trustee in the upcoming election Saturday, May 7 regular election.

I am a Career and Technology educator with 21 years of experience, and I am seeking this position because of my passion for Tenaha ISD and our community. I would like to help our current board members make decisions that offer our schools and community the best chance for success.

Tenaha is my home town, and I want to be able to give back to the school and community that gave so much to me growing up. As a experienced educator, I can offer the voters of the district continuity and consistency and will work to represent what is BEST for the district in every decision.

I am a 1990 graduate of Tenaha High School. After graduating, I attended Panola College and then graduated in 1994 from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelors of Science in Home Economics.

Early voting begins Monday, April 25 from 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM through May 3 at the Tenaha ISD Administration Building.
