April 25, 2025 - Notice is hereby given that a Special meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court will be held on the 30th day of April, 2025 at 9:30am in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:
1. Approve and pay weekly expenses.
2. Public comments on Agenda item.
3. Discuss establishing a surplus fund for the Elections Administrator per Texas Election Code 31.100.
4. Discuss and possibly approve the voting machine rental fees to be placed into the Election Administrators surplus fund.
5. Discuss and consider approval of tax resale properties.
6. Discuss the quote from Strickland Plumbing for the repair of the water line leakage at the Tri-County Head Start location.
7. Discuss and possibly approve to accept a donation of concrete from Neil McFadden for Pct 3.
8. Discuss and possibly amend the action taken in Court on March 5, 2025 regarding the source of payment to Encore Music for the installation of audio and technology equipment for the County Courtroom.
9. Commissioners' Court Reports: These are for informational purposes only. Any action that needs to be taken on the basis of these reports will be placed on a future agenda for action.
