July 24, 2026 - Notice is hereby given that a Special meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court will be held on the 29th day of July 2026 at 9:30am in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:

1. Approve and pay weekly expenses.

2. Approve current payroll.

3. Public comments on Agenda item.

4. Approve the bond for County Attorney, John Price.

Shelby County Offices, Courthouse to Close in Observance of July 4

July 2, 2026 - In observance of July 4th (Independence Day) all Shelby County offices including the Shelby County Courthouse will be closed, Friday July 3rd. All offices will reopen Monday at their normal time.

On behalf of Judge Harbison, Commissioners McSwain, Metcalf, Smith and Bellmyer we would like to wish everyone within the County a safe and happy 4th of July.
