June 21, 2024 - Notice is hereby given that a Special meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court will be held on the 26th day of June, 2024 at 9:30am in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:
1. Approve and pay weekly expenses.
2. Public comments on Agenda item.
3. Discuss and approve FY2024 budget amendment to recognize additional interest income and increase courthouse repairs expense budget.
4. Discuss and possibly approve the Memorandum of Agreement between Burke and Shelby County for the purpose of receiving grant funds to be utilized by the Sheriff’s Department to establish a mental health deputy program.
5. Discuss and possibly approve to request bids for four (4) belly dump trailers for the Road and Bridge Dept to be paid from ARPA funds.
6. Adjourn.
