May 17, 2024 - Notice is hereby given that Special meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court will be held on the 22nd, day of May, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:
1. Approve and pay weekly expenses.
2. Approve weekly payroll.
3. Public comments on Agenda item.
4. Discuss and possibly approve the Proclamation declaring June as Elder Abuse Prevention Awareness Month.
5. Approve/Record Shelby County compliance with Government Code 2054.5191 in the requirement of 100% completion of the Cybersecurity training program.
6. Discuss and approve the Awardee Agreement between Shelby County and Huber Water Supply Corporation.
7. Discuss and possibly award the Janitorial Contract to B & R Cleaning Services.
8. Review and discuss the Piney Creek Estates Subdivision Plat.
9. Discuss and possibly approve a donation of concrete for Precinct 3.
10. Discuss and possibly approve Precinct 3 Commissioner Stevie Smith to reestablish a drainage off the county right of way.
11. Adjourn.
