May 24, 2024 - Notice is hereby given that Special meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court will be held on the 29th, day of May, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action
on the following items:
1. Approve and pay weekly expenses.
2. Public comments on Agenda item.
3. Discuss and possibly approve the donation of a 2017 Dodge Truck to the office of Constable Pct. 5.
4. Discuss and possibly approve a Resolution to redesignate County Road 2706 to County Road 2704.
5. Discuss and possibly approve change order of scope work on the Precinct 3 Barn. The barn is being funded by ARPA and is requesting an increase of $6500.00 for additional electrical work and inside wall finish.
6. Discuss and possibly approve the abandonment of CR 4188.
7. Present and review criteria for minimum standards in accepting a public road into the County Road System for maintenance as set forth in Transportation Code Chapter 251.
8. Adjourn.
