September 9, 2016 - Notice is hereby given that a Regular meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners' Court will be held on the 12th day of September, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:
1. Approve the minutes of the July 11, 2016 Regular Meeting and the July 25, 2016 Special Meeting of the Shelby County Commissioners' Court.
2. Approve and pay the monthly expenses.
3. Approve Officers' Reports.
4. Public Comments on Agenda items.
5. Approve the County Auditor to conduct audit of District Attorney Forfeiture/Seizure funds per Code of Criminal Procedure 59.06 (g).
6. Accept the Shelby County Truancy Policy.
7. Sheriff Blackwell to request line item transfers within his current budget to purchase a vehicle.
8. Correct and approve the 2017 Holidays for 2017.
9. Approve the appointment of Ann Blackwell to the Tri County Community Action Board of Directors.
10. Approve the repair to the Historical Courthouse elevator to be paid from Contingency in two payments of $4831.00 each for a total of $9862.00.
11. Open bids for gravel, fuel, tires, janitorial services and air conditioning services.
12. Adjourn
