January 25, 2021 - The Shelby County Courthouse has a dumpster located in the parking lot behind the structure strictly for the use of the courthouse.
A sign located on the dumpster clearly indicates in English/Spanish, "Not for Public Use! Video Surveillance in Use! May Be Fined!"
Staff at the courthouse have requested individuals utilizing the dumpster cease doing so, as the dumpster is not intended for the use of the general public and at times becomes too full for it's intended purpose resulting from the abuse.
Individuals who have utilized this dumpster in the past are strongly encouraged to no longer use of the dumpster.
